Vandoren reeds are my preference on clarinets & saxophones!

I have been performing and using Vandoren Reeds as a professional musician for 30+ years on the clarinets & saxophones.
On my regular bass clarinet set-up (a vintage Vandoren 2), I usually use 3.5 Blue Box Vandoren Reeds; but I am experimenting with a larger mouthpiece (Vandoren B-50) for jazz/commercial, and I will, upon expert recommendation, begin with the 2.5 Vandoren Blue Box to use on the Vandoren B-50 bass clarinet mouthpiece.

I use this reed with a Ernst Schreiber EPE JM mouthpiece and a Selmer Concept on the Tuyama Low C bassclarinet. Response is very good.

Ich benutze Vandoren Classic Blue seit 30 Jahren und bin immer sehr zufrieden, obwohl die neue Materialien besser bei den höhen Tönen klingen können haben die traditionelle Vandoren immer super klang im ganzen Spektrum. In eine Bass Klarinette ist sehr wichtig, dass die tiefe Töne voll un warm klingen, das schaffen die traditionelle Blätter besser als alle anderen.

Fiable, fonctionnent très bien, je les adapte (retablage ou découpe) donc je les utilise toutes. Je les trouve un peu chères donc j'essaie régulièrement de changer mais j'y revient toujours (pour l'instant...).
