Wonderful stereo reverb for any type of sound

In short - it just sounds awesome.
There are so many (24) different types of reverb to choose from and each one can be tweaked to fine tune it for every set.
The build quality is solid and the knobs feel nice to turn, buttons and minimalist three LED/button display is fun and intuitive to use (AFTER reading the manual).

The only extra thing I wish it had (that's why the 4 on features) is the possibility to control the dry/wet mix with CV.

ECHOZ et non pas ZVERB

Attention, ma review concerne le module ECHOZ de chez Tiptop, en effet, j'ai recu le modèle ECHOZ suite à cette commande au lieu du modèle ZVERB, sans doute du à une erreur dans la base de données Thomann (photos de Zverb, mais description produit de Echoz)

Utilisation :
J'utilise Echoz surtout pour ses fonctions de pitch shifting dans mon modulaire afin de donner un caractère spatial à mes sons de synthé. (la fonction Shimmer Taps est excellente pour cela)

Menus :
Il y a un peu de prise en main à faire et de mémorisation à avoir pour comprendre les sous menus, mais Tip Top l'a bien résumé en une page sur leur manuel.

Le module est très sobre et très bien pensé, et sa qualité de son est irréprochable. Je recommande pour tous ceux qui souhaiteraient un delay/echo multifonction sur peu de HP.

Tiptop Audio hat dank seiner Kooperation mit dem Macher der Valhalla Reverbs absolut studiotaugliche Hall-Algorithmen, die nach dem Z-DSP jetzt auch in einer platzsparenden 8-TE Version angeboten werden. Naturgemäß ist die Auswahl der klangbestimmenden Parameter gegenüber Plug-ins oder spezialisierter Hardware eingeschränkt, aber das wichtigste ist im direkten Zugriff und sogar CV-modulierbar (mit "Fidelity" sogar die interne Sample-Clock, was nicht viele Hallerzeuger bieten). Wer mit der Einschränkung leben kann, dass es hier nur einen Mono Input gibt und sich an die etwas minimalistische Algorithmus-Auswahl über die drei Bank-Buttons (widerholtes Drücken, Binärcode Feedback…) gewöhnen kann, wird mit einem exzellent klingenden Hall belohnt, der auch oberhalb seiner Preisklasse nicht so leicht übertroffen wird.

Superbe mais presque trop de choix

Superbe module avec plein de reverb différentes du plus simple au plus sophistiqué.

Mon seul reproche serait qu’il y en a presque trop, car il est un peu difficile de choisir quel type d’effet prendre (70, 80, 90) pour avoir tel ou tel effet.

Je pense que la catégorisation par époque n’est pas la meilleure choisie.

Dommage que les vis soient en plastique, sinon bonne qualité.
