The Moog MF-109S Saturator ranges from tight, dynamic overdrive and analogue saturation to gentle compression and expansion. It combines a versatile envelope follower with bipolar control of the unique drive circuit found in Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins. This input stage is a key component of every Moogerfooger and adds warmth, distortion and crunch to any sound.
Additional features: The Plug-in also emulates the Minimoog Model D’s Noise generator circuit – including control over noise level and timbre, as well as a switchable filter type. Thanks to the Envelope Follower and Noise CV outputs, as well as several CV inputs, the Saturator can interact seamlessly with all other Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins.

- Analogue frequency shifter and ring modulator for processing audio signals
- Internal oscillator with tuning control (range: 0 - 1000 Hz) and two CV inputs with attenuators
- Signal input and switchable input for external reference oscillator
- Two sum and difference outputs for the processed signal
- Ring modulator section with two signal inputs (signal and reference)
- Adjustable crossfade from the unprocessed input signal via amplitude modulation to ring modulation
- Can be modulated via CV input with bipolar attenuator
- Two signal outputs for the variable output signal and the ring modulator
- Power requirement: 50 mA (+12 V) / 44 mA (-12 V)
