Tolles Produkt, kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge

Endlich gibt es eine günstige Alternative zum Produkt von Meinl. Vorab sei gesagt, der Preis ist sensationell, die Verarbeitung ebenso, die mitgelieferte Tasche ist auch mehr als ausreichend und grundsätzlich ist es einfach toll, dass diese mitgeliefert wird bei einem Instrument in dieser speziellen Form.

Nun mein "Aber":

Mir fehlt tatsächlich vor allem im Bass-Bereich leider doch einiges. Der Basston singt mehr, als ich das vom Original kenne, lässt aber an wirklichem Tiefbass leider etwas vermissen. Man kann da etwas tricksen, in dem man das Schallloch mit Tape oder Schaumstoff etwas verkleinert, dann wird der Sound generell aber etwas trockener. Die Ansprache der Snare ist sehr gut, aber hier ist das Konkurrenz-Instrument tatsächlich etwas besser durchdacht für meinen Geschmack, da es - zumindest in der großen Version, die kleine kenne ich nicht - Snare-Zonen auf beiden Seiten hat und man so ein ähnlicheres Spielgefühl eines herkömmlichen Cajóns hat und Figuren viel besser umsetzen kann. Die Snare ist beim Thomann-Nachbau auf der linken Seite verbaut, rechts und in der Mitte hat man dann eher Conga-artige Sounds zur Verfügung. Auch charmant, aber nicht so meins, da ich die Hoffnung hatte, eine recht gleichwertige Alternative zum Cajón zu bekommen um vor allem bei langen Proben oder Unterrichtssessions den Rücken etwas zu schonen.

Nichtsdestotrotz: Ich finde es großartig, dass Thomann eine erste Auflage herausgebracht hat und würde mir wünschen, dass hier irgendwann eine überarbeitete Version kommt. Da ist viel Potenzial, vielleicht eine weitere Variante mit 2 Snare-Zonen und etwas mehr Tiefbass? :)

Auch eine verschraubte Spielfläche anstatt geleimt würde ich mir wünschen! Das erlaubt zum einen leichtes Tuning und Clapcorners und ggf. kann man es aufschrauben um zum Beispiel mal einen Snareteppich zu ersetzen...

Absolut fantastisch ist im übrigen der Halt zwischen den Beinen, der ist um Meilen komfortabler als beim Original, da die Form an die Beinposition angepasst wurde. Das macht es unglaublich komfortabel.
