t.bone micscreen / reflection filter
I bought this mic screen from thomann 4 years ago. I initially looked at the SE Reflection screen which was a lot more expensive. I did wonder whether there would be a difference in quality and performance. I bought it to do home recordings, however I have used it out on location to record a theatre groups individual solo's as well.
Firstly, the mic screen still looks as good as new, and all bolts etc are still working. Just be careful that the ball at the end of the clamp lever doesn't work itself loose like mine, as I ended up on my hands and knees for 10 mins looking for it after it dropped off and rolled across a theatre stage. The other good thing was that it came with some extras bits in the box to allow you to be able to set it up for stereo mic's. I thought this was an excellent touch.
The unit needs to be fitted to a non boom mic stand, as the whole unit is fairly heavy. I have not done a direct A/B comparison to an SE reflection filter, but to be honest, mine sounded great on vocals and acoustic guitar with my SE2200A mic, and having used a genuine SE filter in a studio, I could not hear any audible difference to be honest. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Great tool for any home studio
This is an extremely useful bit of kit for anyone who isn't a millionaire and thus can't afford to build their own vocal booth, or indeed someone who needs a portable recording setup. This really helps to isolate the room sound and give you a more consistent base to add effects onto. A nice feature of this is the included mounting for either a single microphone or a twin pair. It can be slightly fiddly to set up at first, but once you get used to it it's not an issue and stays in place nicely.

Does the job
This screen does a good job calming down room noise. I've used it from the control room to record some radio V/Os and a lot of scratch vocal/instrument recordings and I've been happy with the results.
If I want to be sure I'm getting a pristine take with absolutely no extraeneous noises I'll take it into another room and do a more complete job - stand in front of a wardrobe with a duvet hanging behind me, this behind the mic, maybe a pillow above it. No problems - pristine.
I have also taken it out on a number of field recordings, setups in other houses, random sitting rooms, hallways of friends houses. This behind the mic, duvet/curtains/something sound deadening behind the artist, stand them on a carpet. No problems.
It's a little cumbersome to position because there's a lot of bits to adjust, but because of that there's plenty of flexibility to get it to where you want to go. Overall, I'm happy with it and would buy it again.

Decent Micscreen
T.bone Miscreen is a decent and robust Mic-screen, though the effectiveness of mic-screens in general can be debated, I have found it useful in certain circumstances for putting more presence around the micro. The mic bracket allows a reasonable amount of adjustment to suit various mics.

It helps
I use it with my condenser mic, close to a street window and it helps to reduce the noise outside.
Everything works at it should, the only problem is weight. It is really heavy i had problems finding microphone stand for it. But that is probably the problem with all other mic screens of that size as well.

Works Well. Save Money.
Bought this for studio separation when tracking and it does the job very well.
It sounds as good as the big brand alternative, but while built well, the big brand is slightly better in my opinion.
However, at this money and treated with care, its an absolute steal.
Highly recommended. Buy this before you buy anything new for your setup. This will improve your recording quality immensely.

Very good and affordable
This is a perfect thing to tighten a room. For speakers etc it's really good, only downside is in that case that it will be a problem to use papers and notes. But if compared to similar this is most affordable, just remember to have a stabile stand because it's heavy, don't use the same as where you mount the microphone.

Great for home studio
Well built and very good quality. Heavy so will need solid stands. Fantastic for home studio. Kept the vocals cleaner without background music play back feeding into the recording. Was better than in the studio booth. I even recorded on a farm with all the noise and was still able to capture some decent ideas. I'm glad I own one.
