Best pedal in the biz, period

Seriously, buy one. It freaked me out it is so good. I have never liked direct drive pedals before but this one combines the lightness, speed and PURE power. Also; it is very easy to play super soft so I imagine that jazz drummers will also love this pedal.

Feels like nothing else

It made a big difference in my playing. The drive length can be set, longer for more of a whip effect and less rebound (as far as I understand) which makes it a really fun direct drive (I don't use it for constant & consistent speed necessarily) it makes it so intuitive to do doubles and other patterns. And feel really powerful if you need it to be but not heavy. I removed the coil on the bottom and changed the beater to a sonor one and added the dw beater weight towards the top which gave it the perfect feeling, for me.

Very Responsive & Punchy

This is a perfectly engineered and balanced pedal. Very Responsive as you expect from a direct drive pedal and yet punchy like a chain version such as Power Glide ( The pedal i had before ) . Playing doubles is effortless as the board seems to follow you foot perfectly. You might want to try it though if you want to upgrade from a Speed Cobra and the difference is there but not justified by the price difference. Nevertheless, a keeper for sure.
