Good for sound treatment
Not to be confused with sound isolation.
They will really help to remove room echo, and will help the high-frequencies if you're recording. Also looks really good, if you want to make your room/studio darker. Vacuuming them is also no problem, no ripping or anything.
For low-frequency handling though - check some rockwool panels or corner bass-traps or something similar. Room sound isolation is also another topic.

Total black out without breaking the bank!
I bought this a couple of months ago to use both as a blackout curtain and as absorbing material in my makeshift living room studio. It served the purpose perfectly. Can't recommend enough.

Heavy and good price : quality
Bought this to cover some home made acoustic panels. Am satisfied with the thickness and quality of the fabric. Looks great over my panels. Does not crease or mark easily.

Unexpectedly useful
I first got this not expecting very much, but it seemed a cheaper and more flexible solution to cover the walls in a bare room with some curtains rather than put foam everywhere. After trying out the first piece, I was really impressed and got more to cover up everything.
Now, don't get me wrong, don't expect miracles. This will definitely not swallow up the low frequencies, but then again, neither does the usual foam - you need bass traps for that. As for me, it really helped kill the ringing and sharp upper frequencies. As an added bonus, they also look quite cool, almost like from the stage/theatre.

Does what it says on the tin
We bought 16m of this stuff to use in our rehearsal space. Works well to dampen the room acoustics and looks good.
