Excellent sound and response, very suited to classical playing, and very evocative of the classic selmer sound. Personally I found the C** opening great, although I think someone looking for a more contemporary piece should also try something wider like an E or and F, as sometimes the sound can be a bit hard to really open up in louder, harsher music.

Ich bin wirklich überzeugt! Ein wirklich gutes Mundstück, was gerade hauptsächlich in der Sinfonischen Blasmusik oder Klassik sehr guten EInsatz findet!

Es hat eine wundervolle Bahn, die es zulässt, dass selbst beim Leisespielen sehr viel Luft durch das Instrument strömt. Damit klingt es einfach viel voller und weich.
Selbst in lauten Passagen bricht der Ton nicht heraus und fängt nicht an zu plärren. Es steht sehr stabil was auch das reiche Oberton-Spektrum beim Spielen bestätigt.

In der Ansprache hat es auch sehr viele Vorzüge, was gerade das Leiseanspielen und lange phrasieren sehr angenehm gestaltet. Nur in der Tiefe fällt die Ansprache ein wenig ab aufgrund der hohen Masse an Lust, die es dann einfach benötigt - dadurch ist die Stabilität unkontrolliert und man hat etwas das Gefühl, dass der Ton zuvor wegbricht, auch wenn es dann gar nicht passiert.

Dennoch ein echter Hinhörer unter den Saxophonen! Genau das richtige für die Klassiker unter den Saophonisten!

En continuité avec mon Selmer Soloist C* je cherchais un bec un peu plus ouvert. Le Soloist génère plus d'harmoniques et permet de monter facilement dans les aigus tout en restituant très bien les graves. J'utilise une ligature Vandoren Optimum et des anches d'Addario Reserve sur mon Selmer B. A.

Das Mundstück habe ich schon lange, aber was positives wollte ich unbedingt schreiben für denen die noch nicht entschieden haben, oder was neues suchen. Klassisch oder Jazz ist egal bei dem Mundstück. Ansprache und Intonation sind super. Mit Jazz Select (Daddario) kann man auch in Bigband mitziehen...
Also nur zu empfehlen...
Viele andere probiert und getestet aber ich komme immer zurück zum diesem Mundstück.
