Ho testato questo booster con diversi microfoni dinamici e a nastro e collegato in diverse configurazioni sia direttamente sui preamp dell' interfaccia RME Fireface UCX, tramite preamp stile neve73, e collegandolo al mixer A&H CQ20B. Confrontato con altri modelli della concorrenza (Cloudlifter CL-1 e CL-Z). Il risultato è stato il seguente: aumento di db, anche considerevole nel caso del DM2, ma aumento proporzionale del rumore. quindi di fatto questi attivatori di microfoni non fanno quello che promettono. Riguardo a questo modello in particolare una nota divertente: collegato non al microfono ma direttamente all'ingresso microfonico del mixer diventa una specie di antenna. infatti percepisce chiaramente le onde radio di emittenti che entrano direttamente nel segnale microfonico. Ho realmente ascoltato una trasmissione di radio vaticana mentre monitoravo il microfono.
