Response is amazing, super clear attacks and a lovely compact sound from low to high.

The tone is neutral - neither dark or bright. Better for me than all the Yamahas NY1/Chicago2/LA that I've previously owned.
I doubt it would be ideal for Mahler symphonies but for everything else it should work very well for everyone.
