good, but be careful with your fingerboard
they don't cover the whole fingerboard right next to the fret you're working on so you still need to pay close attention. that being said, they work fine. they simply could have been a little wider in my opinion

Good helper
Some sharp edges, I recommend to use masking tape as well. Otherwise, they do what they should do and you can use sharper tools on your fretwork. Includes stone is of lower quality, however usable, also the reason for masking tape.

Nice kit with three different sizes. Get this together with the rubber sanding blocks.

Good protection
The fingerboard savers are well worth the price. The included polishing stone is however not the easiest to use.

Comes in a paper box. Also included is a sanding block. Metal is not thick, which lets it bend easily on fretboard. Didn't notice any rough edge. Overall very usable for a hobbyist tinkering.
