Bought these along with my first drum kit - and I replaced the original (made in China) heads almost immediately. So much better! I love the coated feeling - and they sound great.
Going to try some Evans heads next time.

I recently upgraded my kit with the Remo PP-1412-BE Emperor Coated drumheads, and the difference is phenomenal. Built with two plies of 7-mil coated film, they strike a perfect balance between durability and tone. The warm, open sound they produce adds serious depth, whether I’m recording or jamming live.

They’re super responsive, with a smooth feel and a punchy attack that cuts through without being harsh. Tuning is easy and stable, and the coating holds up well even after hours of playing. These heads brought out a richness in my toms I hadn’t heard before.

If you want a classic tone with modern reliability, these are a no-brainer. Total game-changer for my setup!

These drumheads are durable and made to high quality standard, as you would expect from Remo! They have a bright loud sound to them with a nice finish. These were my first new set of drum heads and I am very pleased with them so far. Definitely worth it for the money!
