Very strong head that will stand up to lots of heavy playing. I sometimes like to use it as a resonant head along with a warm head like a coated Emperor as my batter. It offers an alternative sound to the punchy, studio-esque sounds that everyone seems to strive for these days. Variety is the spice of life! ;-)

He usado pocos parches de tom, básicamente el emperor i el pinstripe. He puesto los powerstroke 4 en los toms de una PDP CM& y estoy muy satisfecho con el sonido. Tiene pegada, suficiente cuerpo y le quita resonancia, que a mi, personalmente no me gusta si es excesiva en los toms. Son muy equilibrados.

,,,für meinen Geschmack ist das Remo Powerstroke 4 das beste Schlagfell für die Toms meines Sonor Ascent-Kits - der Sound ist kraftvoll, tief, hat 'Bauch' und einen knackigen Attack. In Verbindung mit der richtigen Stimmung des Reso-Fells lässt sich den Toms ausserdem ein kurzes, kraftvolles Sustain entlocken, die Hänge-Toms singen regelrecht, während die Stand-Toms tief vor sich hingrollen :)

Ich hatte übrigens genügend Vergleichsmöglichkeiten, da ich die Gelegenheit hatte, das Schlagzeug seinerzeit mit 4 vollständigen, unterschiedlichen Remo bzw. Evans-Fell-Sätzen zu testen - was ich auch aausgiebig getan habe. Ich weiss also ungefähr, wovon ich rede ;)

Geiler Sound, bin total begeistert :)
