Too short lived

The bass strings sound great and they play fantastic at first but they deaden off really quickly when slapping and fraying is a big issue with the D and G being only gut.
If you?re playing rockabilly which these strings are advertised as being for, I would advise against them if you play a lot of live gigs as they need frequent tuning but they?re ok for recording if you can afford to keep them just for that purpose as they?re quite expensive.

Nice gut strings

They sound good under the fingers and they amplify really well. Naturally has less of that really pokey sound from amplified steel strings.

Nice and loud. with the nature of naked gut strings they require more care. Try and wipe them and stop them getting wet.

Ich benutze die Saiten überwiegend im Jazz, manchmal auch im Rockabilly. Ich war überrascht ob der Saitenstärke (mußte meinen Steg erst mit der Rundfeile "anpassen") und der Befestigung (ein einfacher Knoten bei G- und D-Saite). Habe ca. drei Wochen lang täglich einen Ganzton bei den hohen und einen Halbton bei den tiefen Saiten nachstimmen müssen. Sehr schöner voller Klang, guter Sustain, Schön abgestimmter einheitlicher Sound zwischen den Natur- und der umsponnenen Saiten. Wunderbares weiches Spiel mit den Fingern auf den dicken Saiten, ausreichendes Durchdringen unplugged, hervorragender ausgewogener Sound mit meinem Fishman-Pickup und Gallien-Krueger Bassamp. Erstaunlich leichtes Ansprechen und leichte Spielbarkeit beim Slappen (hoffentlich halten die Knoten...)
Fazit: Gutes Produkt, mit ¤ 287,00 obere Schmerzgrenze, mit einem Satz Ersatzsaiten kaum erschwinglich, hoffentlich eine Lebensanschaffung!

Muy buen sonido

Si quieres un sonido vintage son extraordinarias.
Cuerdas muy rápidas y con sonido muy cálido.
Como pero las dos de tripa G y D se me "deshilacharon" nada más ponerlas (con muy poco uso), lo puse en conocimiento de la casa y me enviaron rápidamente otras nuevas. Ciertamente, y aunque en menor medida, el problema persiste con las cuerdas recibidas pero desconozco ya si será un problema intrínseco del propio material de tripa.
En cualquier caso el servicio de atención al cliente funcionó muy bien, y el sonido y la acción en general, es de lo mejor que he probado
