A great and very versatile string

These strings are very easy to play and sound great whether playing pizz or arco. I play jazz and have been using spirocores before now. The evah pirazzi strings are a little less bright and more gut-like with a nice percussive sound and I would highly recommend them.

The first time I ordered the string it sounded great but there was a very small dent in it, which affected the sound of one note by making a buzz. However, Thomann shipped a replacement straight away and this one is much better.

Evah Pirazzi lights are nowadays the choice of many bassist playing in a different contexts.
They are great for pizz. or arco playing.

Hacía ya muchos años que utilizaba Evah Pirazzi en mi contrabajo por su sonido cálido y redondo, pero las cuerdas de orquesta a diferencia de las de solista ofrecían más resistencia por su grosor, especialmente en el registro agudo por lo que era muy difícil poder moldear el sonido de una manera más libre y flexible. Con Pirazzi light el instrumento responde de una manera más rápida y relajada, funcionando con menor esfuerzo donde más en el registro agudo.Saludos!!!

Die Saite spricht sehr gut an und klingt
rein.Die relativ geringe Spannung
bewirkt,dass sie sich mit geringerem Druck
spielen läßt.Das Klangvolumen ist durchaus
akzeptabel.
