Truss rod setup made easy
I don't plan to work much on frets, that's for my guitar tech, he has to make a living. But this thing helps a lot with setting the truss rod almost 100% flat (maybe a hair less). Then you can do a slight adjustment to get it to your liking. Already set two guitars with it and they play almost to perfection. Looks and feels sturdy. Very happy overall.

Good tool overall, not for pros
The tool seems to be precise, well within specs and the idea of having 3 in 1 is brilliant. What i didn't like is that the edges of the notched sides are very sharp and can injure the fretboard easily, even when you are careful enough and experienced. I have been working as a guitar technician for more than 20 years and i didn't like it when i saw the fretboard scratched just by touching the notched side on it to make measurements with a filler. Nothing serious that I couldn't fix, but still my opinion is that it should be more refined in the edges of the notched sides. That said, I understand that production of such a ruler with that kind of attention to detail would have to cost triple the money but that doesn't mean I wouldn't buy it....I would definitely do! All in all, it's a good tool for hobbyists or for making measurements in your guitar, but not for professional work!

Good
I bought this together with the L-beam, used the notched edge sides on 24,75", 25", 25,1" (Ibanez SZ) and 26,5" scale guitars. Also has a straight side to place on top of the frets. I have no complaints!

Great Quality
Feels like it will last a lifetime.
Didn't expect anything less from MusicNomad. I have many of their products, and I'm very satisfied with all of them.

Fast and easy
Ideal when you have a bolt on neck which can only be adjusted by taking off the neck. In this case the method of two capos or capo and finger will not work to validate the relieve of the neck or the adjustments you have just made.
For the above and other reasons I finally decided to use the Nomad Tri-Beam simply for the ease, speed and accuracy when checking or validating adjustments made to the neck.
No more hassle with a capo and other gauges, this is simple, quick and precise.
Maybe expensive for what it is, but happy I finely got it
