I initally saw a lot of buzz around the Mooer Trelicopter. It's not hard to figure out why, as it is one of the cheapest tremolos around and comes from a somewhat trusted guitar pedals' brand as is the case of Mooer. I soon caved in and had to get my hands on the product so that I could form an opinion myself, and also was looking to expand the type of fx pedals I had, having no tremolo one. I have to say that while I'm not disapointed, I wish I loved this pedal more. As I said, I used it on my guitar alongside my true bypass pedals. What I realised from day one is that the tone suffers somewhat from having this fx pedal turned on, and while I expected some change in this department, sometimes it leads me to removing it from my pedalboard as it gets to much sometimes. On the other hand, I do like to send a clean signal into it and just using it by itself. To me, the sound is never the greatest, and so I would recommend this pedal only to people who are really curious about the tremolo effect and nothing else

Wanted to love it but mine is noisy!

I wanted to love this pedal because of it's compact nature, and it's popularity with pros using it...
Unfortunately, besides the nice tremolo sound, it generates a clicking sound that corresponds with the postition of the speed knob. It is present even when the pedal is off!
I have read the forum posts regarding the buffers in the chain or insufficient power as culprits for the clicking sound, but I have run it every which way: alone, in a chain, with buffers, without, with it's own power supply, with isolated power out and the problem persists.
Maybe I got a dud, who knows.. Unfortunately this issue alone kicked it off my pedalboard.
