Great value, great tone.
I wanted a shaman-style drum for nordic music - but for serious use it had to be tunable, as frame drums like this have a distinct note and it has to fit with the other instruments. Good tune, and tuning works well. Beater is really good too.

You get what you pay for- this sounds fine but the skin on mine came with a couple of blemishes that look like dirt stuck to the skin, but cannot be cleaned off... It is not like a natural discoloration you might see on animal skin, but a small piece of dirt somehow stuck to it.
