Very nice throne, but a little pricey.

Only had it for about half a year, but it has been used extensively by three heavy-handed (and -bottomed) drummers, all weighing between 95 and 115 kg. In addition, it regularly receives quite a bit of abuse from my nearly two years old son, who loves to play the drum set.

I'm very satisfied with the quality of this drum throne. Height adjustments are relatively easily done, the locking spindle keeps it very secure, and the throne is very sturdy. In addition, the padding feels just right, not too hard nor too soft. The stiching is holding up very well so far.

It is rather expensive for what it is, but I cashed out to have a throne that looked nice with my Ludwig drum set. I guess a lot of the price relates to the high quality (on par with Atlas Standard hardware), but perhaps a little with the brand name as well.

OK,und nicht mehr-schlechte Preis-Leistung

Der Stuhl sollte ein optischer Hingucker mit entsprechender Sitzqualität sein.
Der Stuhl schneidet aus meiner Sicht nicht so gut ab weil ich für den Preis von knapp 200¤ mehr ... Stabilität ... Erwartet hätte. Selbst festgezurrt wackelt der Stuhl. Das Handling, das kann Geschmackssache sein, hätte ich ebenfalls anders eingeschätzt. Will ich ihn spontan herunter machen, muss ich erst eine Schraube lösen, um ihn zu drehen. Mache ich die Schraube nicht fest dann wackelt der Hocker um so mehr. Alles in allem hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass der Hocker ein höheres Maß an Stabilität beim Sitzen gehabt hätte. Hätte ich das Moneyback nicht verpasst dann hätte ich ihn Zurück geschickt

Construction moyenne.
Le siège n'est pas stable.
Même une fois les vis serrées.. Il y à toujours un mouvement de balancier.
C'est très décevant.

De plus l'assise n'est pas super confortable.

Bref. Comparé à mon siège gibraltar acehté il y à 10 ans et toujours fonctionnel, rien à voir !
Et le prix du ludwig.. bien trop cher.

Would rather go with a TAMA First Chair

The looks of the throne are good, but it lacks stability. I also own a TAMA First Chair saddle-shaped throne, which does not wobble. The seating of the Ludwig throne is only being clamped to the pole with one screw directly onto the pole. This screw does not stay in place while playing and makes the chair wobbly. The mechanism on the TAMA chair is preferred, and therefore I would recommend going for a First Chair instead of the Atlas Saddle.
