Great light, but room for improvement
This is a nice light overall. It’s a great feature being able to dim the light via the potentiometer on the base. It feels well made being mostly metal construction. I didn’t have any issues with quality, as the other reviewer did.
I have a couple of slight criticisms: I think the LED bulb should be designed to be easily replaceable by the end user, and available to buy as separate part (they are not). And I think with today’s lighting technology it could have a higher lumen output. Also, the supplied power adapter cable is a little short, so consider buying a DC 5.5 / 2.1 extension cable.
Apart from these slight misgivings, it’s still a good light, which I use to illuminate my turntable, which it does a good job. The price could be cheaper, but Thomann was the best price around.
