In the air tonight
Made in Germany by the renowned stand maker König & Meyer, the K&M 213 has two distinct uses: Firstly, the hand crank can be used to raise or lower speakers for a variety of functions; alternatively, the standardised threaded bush can accommodate a crossbar for lighting. The K&M 213 has an almost peerless load capacity, thanks to its robust all-steel construction and double-strut legs. The sleek black design will blend in anywhere, and pairs well with any black loudspeaker or other equipment. König & Meyer design all their products to withstand years of use, and as is typical for K&M, great importance is also attached to sustainability, with spare parts available if required.

Double the functionality, double the fun
The K&M 213 steel stand is equipped with die-cast zinc clamps and sealed with a black powder finish. It weighs only 8.6kg, and yet is capable of carrying loads of up to 50kg. Fully extended, the three-legged stand has a diameter of 1320mm: The height of the tripod can be adjusted to between 1385mm and 2180mm using the crank and autolocking system. At the top of the extending tube, there is a 35mm speaker mount with an integrated M10 threaded bush insert for speakers and trusses. Initial setup simply involves inserting the screws for adjusting the height and fixing the leg struts, both standard M8 format. Then, after putting the current load into place, the crank's fixing screw can be loosened again to allow the crank to be turned until the desired height is reached. Once the crank's screw has been fixed again, the fun can begin!

Professional users will love the fact that K&M has specifically developed the 213 for a service life of ten years. In addition, it meets the requirements of Directive 2006/42/EC (Safety of Machinery), Standard DIN 56950-3 (Event Technology – Technical Equipment) and EN ISO 12100. As such, the K&M 213 guarantees secure working conditions for both lighting technicians and sound engineers. For galas, caterers, and anyone in charge of entertainment at venues with easily damaged wooden floors, the K&M 213 is fitted with replaceable rubber feet. About K&M
Founded in 1949, König & Meyer (K&M) initially produced music stands and measuring tools. Just two years later, the range was expanded to include instrument stands and microphone tripods, which are still the core business of the manufacturer today – and are still manufactured in their facilities in Wertheim, Germany.
