Joyo BA-30 Micro Bass Amp White

I got this for quite a niche use – playing acoustic bass in an unamplified folk band (squeezeboxes, whistles, violins etc), in pub function rooms and small halls.

I don’t need super clarity and massive power, just something with enough oomph to make the bass audible among all the other instruments. This amp is perfect. Great build quality, nice tone, fits in a backpack and runs off a power bank.

I'm a guitar tech and I thought I would try this in my atelier for testing basses I'm working on.
Although the sound that comes out of it is impressive for it's miniscule size I found that the little 5" speaker definitely has it limits.
It sounded great with a simple, 4string, passive bass at low volume levels, but as soon as I tried it with a 5-string and/or active bass the passive radiator in the back started rattling and the bass disappeared.
Great, cheap peace of kit (basically the same as the Phil Jones nano at 1/5th of the price!) for people who want something to practice with at a very low volume and like the extra options like bluetooth, usb out, etc.
If you play active basses, 5string or are looking for more volume and low-end than what a small bluetooth speaker can give you I would look at other options like a Fender Rumble f.e.

Wie, noch kaum eine Bewertung für das Teil?!? Komisch, als ich mich durchgerungen hatte, es mir anzuschaffen, war der Amp plötzlich gefühlt ewig nicht mehr zu haben, nirgends. Irgendjemand hat den doch auch gekauft, oder? Also, ich bin jetzt kein so toller Bassist und in Sound- und Technikdingen wahrscheinlich auch nicht der Kompetenteste. Zuhause spiele/ übe ich an einem Fender Rumble 15 (den ich trotzdem von Zimmer zu Zimmer schleppen muß, Familie halt), oder nem Hotone Thunder Bass (für den gibts aber das schnuckelige kleine Cabinet nicht mehr). Mit Kopfhörer ist mir ein bißchen zu autistisch.
Also, der JOYO:
Ist echt süß und schick. Ich hab ihn in weiß, da darf er auch im Wohnzimmer bleiben. Macht einen wertigen und gut verarbeiteten Eindruck. "Schwer". Laut Anleitung kann man die vielen Knöpfe nicht wirklich verdrehen, er klingt immer gut. Naja, spielt man halt ein bißchen dran rum. Den Bluetoothempfänger find ich gut und praktisch. Ein Bluetooth- Kopfhörer würde da noch gut passen, leider muß man einen mit Kabel nehmen.
Ohne Kopfhörer kommt gut was raus, lauter als er aussieht und klingt bei Zimmerlautstärke gut. Ich finde allerdings, er verzerrt schnell, aber vielleicht sind meine Instrumente nicht so dolle?
Und er ist echt klein.
Und süß.
Den OTG Ausgang und ne Powerbank hab ich nicht ausprobiert, interessant aber auf jeden Fall, wenn man gleich in den PC gehen kann damit (vielleicht hat sichs ja mal halbwegs ausgeübt und ich möchte ein bißchen Musik machen).
Die zwei obengenannten Amps gefallen mir klanglich besser, ich vermisse zum Beispiel auch die Effektschleife vom Hotone, aber als kleine, saubere und hübsche Lösung, wenns nicht nur über Kopfhörer sein soll, halte ich den Ansatz für gelungen. Ich bereue den Kauf nicht und hab Spaß dran.
