Poor tone quality in upper register

Bought two of those which varied much in quality but both were pretty bad - one was almost usable. In the lower register they played pretty well, nice response and quite good tone quality but around upper g and upwards, the tone quality was terrible - thin sound with some high-pitched resonance (or buzz) on the verge of cracking. Might have something to do with that the facing was a bit uneven. Maybe if refaced it can become a good mouthpiece.

Tested on a Selmer SBA in excellent condition.

Super jazziger, ausgewogener, voller Sound. Es ist sehr gut zu spielen und der Ton ist mit dieser Öffnung sehr gut modellierbar. Mir gefällt der Klang sehr gut. Ich habe mir 6 Mundstücke zuschicken lassen und mich am Ende für dieses und für das Aizen NY 7 entschieden. Das Jody Jazz ist wirklich ein top Mundstück, ich kann es nur empfehlen. Auch die Verarbeitung ist klasse.

Bec excellent. Il est très facile d'émission c'est extrêmement surprenant et agréable.

Le son est simple, précis, juste, légèrement rond, chaud, typé jazz et sait vous permettre de trouver votre identité.
Le son n'est pas trop "sourd ou mat" il est parfaitement équilibré entre touche jazz légèrement feutrée et brillance qui permet de sortir un peu du mix
Il a une bonne projection ce qui permet de se faire entendre meme en groupe d'instrument à vent
