Great warm sound, great routing and still small enough.

I have been using the EDB VAP for two weeks now, playing both large and small venues, and I am honestly thrilled. Both my pickups (Schertler Stat B, Yamahiko) and also my go-to mic sound amazing, the EQ and the tube/valve harmonize great and the routing possibilities are just perfect for my needs - having two separate DI-outs is just perfect and gives me pretty much all the control I want to have before giving my PU and/or microphone signals to FOH. There are quite some good solutions for demanding double bass players and after trying most of them at least for me this is the best sounding solution that still fits in my gig bag. If this thing lasts I have no need to look any further - sound wise I could not be happier with a preamp and yes, I think the VAP is a huge upgrade to its predecessor.

Preamplificatore eccellente

Non ci sono parole per descrivere la qualità eccelsa di questo preamplificatore a valvole. Escono fuori armoniche e sfumature che con nessun altro preamplificatore ho ascoltato. Ho posseduto anche la versione precedente edb-2 HE, notevole, ma questa nuova versione Vap, li batte tutti. Lo uso anche con chitarra acustica, ma con chitarra classica è qualcosa di unico. Consigliatissimo. Grazie a Thomann per il servizio eccellente e per trattare marchi di una certa importanza.

acheter comme preamp à tout faire (je suis contrebassiste ) pour adoucir les piezos mélanger avec différents micros aérien et/ou de contact (tous nécessitants différentes alimentations ) .

les fonctionnalités sont incroyables avec cette boite on peut tout faire .
la lampe réchauffe bien , l'eq est efficace ,la fonctionnalité "heat " est intéressante pour une babybass par exemple le notch avec q réglable est super, bien qu’un peu fastidieux à régler .
bref tout bien sauf que la machine produit un souffle à décorner les bœufs ( comme on dit chez nous ), tout ça pour ça !
je ne peux décemment utiliser ça en live , retour chez mr thoman
fort dommage .
