Good sound for the money
I'm afraid I've become a Harley Benton addict, is the third guitar bought from Thomann.
Until now I bought this: HB SC Custom Lemon Flame, HB TE-70 RW, and the HB ST-62 BK, and the future acquisitions will be HB CST-24T Ocean Flame and HB DC-Custom Cherry.
For the same amount of money, i prefer to buy 5 different HB guitars instead of one guitar from best brands.
Instead of paying more for the brand, i prefer to do some setup like Sam
that the guitar will sound like here
here
to the main subject: no damage in transit, feels, looks and sounds really nice.
The Wilkinson MWSTHA Alnico Vintage singlecoil pickups sounds warm and similar to other more expensive pickups.
The "tortoise" pickguard is beautiful, does not seem to be a printed copy.
This guitar came with good intonation, but high action, so I had to do some setup and tighten truss rod.
The frets need a good polishing cause they are bit rough.
The tuning stability of Kluson-Style tuners is very good.
The only big problem with this guitar is the tremolo, whenever I used the trem bar it went out of tune.
This guitar is a very good option for beginner or a backup guitar for everyone. I'm really impressed with the quality of this guitar for the money.
Great guitar to buy and set up yourself!

Harley Benton ST-62 Vintage
All aspects of handling my order was really good considering it shipped from Germany to NY I was very pleased. I own a few Fender Strats and this product can hold it's own against any of them but the one thing I was very disappointed in was the fit and finish of the fret wire which was not smooth on either side of the fingerboard and actually rough to the touch and actually scratch or even cut hand with some fast hand movement up or down the neck. I will have to take some time and smooth all that out which is something you should not have to do on a new product especially when all other aspects hold up so well. I will be contacting Thoman and I'm sure they'll do something to make up for because they seem like a quality company. Otherwise happy with all other aspects of product and if Thoman meets my satisfaction I will buy more product from them.

Solid guitar, barely any issues.
This is my second electric guitar I've bought and I can say I am impressed. Beautiful neck, awesome pickups and decent bridge. Only problems I really had was that it was so fresh out of the factory, it needed oil on the fretboard and in the bridge and tuners. There is also a proud fret, the 21st. Other than these, solid guitar, look forward to breaking it in.

So happy, to have discovered Harley Benton
This is my second HB. and I now have the fever...more is the cure. Plays great, wiring is clean, parts are solid. Neck is smoooth, tuners are beyond functional. It is so rewarding, having made this choice. With so many companies pushing prestige and smoke and mirrors, I believe Thomann's cause is a truly noble one. The functional and romantic aspects of this instrument are available to me at this price point, and it was not a compromise, in the least. So happy. and well equipped!

Best beginner e guitar
I am an acoustic player but wanted to switch to electric. I asked Thomann to suggest the best guitar to start, an instrument that would balance price and quality. I did not want to invest too much at the very beginning, however, the quality of the guitar and the bundle blew my mind. It is light, easy to grip thanks to the thin neck, sounds beuatifully.

Good for the money
This guitar is good for the money, It plays surprisingly well out of the box with a reasonably low action. The nut in particular has been cut properly - this is often a problem area in budget guitars.
However it is rather narrow at the nut (41mm) which is less than a real stratocaster and most other guitars.
Sound wise although it bears a passing resemblance to a Strat. it is a bit thin with only the neck PU being really usable.
This would be a good starter guitar for someone with small fingers.
