For a beginner in the 8-saiter world, this is a pretty cool part

MiCz, 27.09.2012
So what can you say to the guitar.

Pros:
- very good playable
-good stability (for my model)
-Lacking and processing are good (neck sits well in the body without gaps)
-Sound (subjective opinion)

Cons:
Earthing at the bridge was not properly placed-> hum without end (was easy to repair)
-The pickups are low-middle output and have the dimensions of 7-string pickups (strangely, the strings still sound good.)
- the standard strings were too thin for F # tuning (best to order)
Saddle is not flush with the fingerboard (only optical flaw, does not affect the handling in any way)

For the price, however, it is still unbeatable, because you can make new strings, change the pickups and the grounding is done quickly.

So from me clear purchase recommendation for people who want to sniff into the 8 Saiter world.

Good guitar for the beginning and also more ...

Thomas109, 29.06.2013
An 8-string guitar for under 200, -EUR. This also seems to work in the meantime, without the evil awakening that the price can actually expect. Of course, a valuation can only take place on the basis of the price range ... I do not evaluate thus compared to significantly more expensive guitars.

To complain about the price absolutely nothing. But even apart from this argument, there is not much ... the potentiometers could be just pinned (but you can do it yourself), the jack could give the plug more hold, and the frets could be polished, so that it with the vibrato or Bending not scratching. But all of these are things you can do quickly.

More Contras are not noticeable to me ... (as said, compared to the price of this guitar with others - who is expected here Gibson Custom Shop quality for 200 Euronen eh obliquely wound). Air up is always ...

I feel the playability as good and feel quite well on this guitar. The pickups are contrary to what is claimed in the article description, with the best will at most middle output and not high gain. But for me exactly what I wanted.

At this point I would say that unfortunately I can not report much on the use of this instrument in Metal. I myself use this guitar in the rock and blues range. The two strings more often I use to give me the fingerpicking (if I only with a 2er combo with singer what make) the bass - and that sounds in the bass range of this guitar much wider and better than on the 6-string Less "draft", even if you first have to learn to use the upper two strings for it. But soon I will use the additional strings also times in the gekletten Bandgefüge increased ... the possibilities irritate one but very much.

In the aforementioned areas I would also say is this guitar at home. I also played a few metal riffs ... in this case, I think you have a huge output with the pickups and they get very muddy in the high gain area ...

Conclusion: I have been playing guitar for 15 years now and this instrument, in contrast to most others in this area, is able to meet my requirements. What times as a "reinschnuppergitarre" was thought to remain (as it is, however, in the daily usage, I will after some time still attach here). Your money is certainly worth it.
