DS
Almost perfect if not the hum
Diet Sodium 31.08.2026
This bass is good for the money. The neck is comfy, smooth and beautiful (roasted maple for this price?!). Some people say they get somewhat sharp frets, but mine are smooth enough. Action is good enough from the box. Tuners are okay, not bad/not great, but do the work. The sound is exactly what I would expect from a P bass. Also - it's lighter than I thought.
Now, a couple of bad things.
The fretboard is kinda dry and looking pale, however it's something that can be fixed easily with mineral oil or some other dedicated products.
Much worse problem is the hum. I don't know if that's a bad isolation or just noisy pickup, but it seems that it attracts a lot of hum. It can be eliminated if you roll down the tone knob to zero (it will filter those noisy frequencies) but obviously it's not a great solution unless you only play Motown/Dub/other genres requiring deep and dark sounding bass.
I will visit my guitar tech so he checks everything and finds out what's wrong, but in any case this will require additional payments.
However, this will still worth it, in my opinion, and the number of pros definitely beats the number of cons. Get it if you know how to fix the hum issue or know a good guitar tech.

C
It is very good for the price
CheckDrummer 23.01.2026
Pros: The sound is warm and full.
Cons: The sound isn't very clean and bright. The fret edges scratch a little.

But the overall feel of the bass is very good. I like it.
