It's not the best file but for the price, it's nice to have one.

Works well
I tried using it on my Harley Benton bass which had super sharp fret edges. It took me a minute to fix one fret. So yes this works.

Affordable route into fretwork
There are many more expensive fret files available, but as a guitar playing starting to do more than simple setups this tool lets me address high spots and improve the playability of my instruments. An excellent place to start when moving into fretwork.

Works for the price
Will only use this a few times. Did my first fret job and it did the job.
