Great learning experience
I didn't expect very much from a guitar built by someone who doesn't know how to build a guitar. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and the parts fit together well. The set up was straightforward and I'm pleased to say that I successfully built playable guitar with a good sound. I left mine unpainted, mostly because I was impatient to get started.

Amazing Guitar!!!
Excelent job from Harley Benton, This kit is amazing it looks good it plays good and it sounds good. It was easy took about two hours to assemble and a week to stain and finish everything as it should be no missing parts. I love this guitar and it will proboably become one of my main stage guitars

Great kit
This is the 13th kit that I have built and it is definitely one of the best.
When I assembled it after painting and varnishing it was pretty much unplayable but that is quite normal for a kit guitar.
Once the frets were leveled, nut filed, truss rod adjusted etc, it turned out brilliant.
The action is very low and extremely light.
It is my personal preference for a guitar to have a very light action with very little effort needed to bend the strings.
However, this may not suit a player who likes to bash it out.
The only thing that I can fault this guitar on is that the neck is a bit thick for me personally. Very similar to the neck on my SG.
This is not a fault, just a personal preference.
If finished properly, this guitar plays and sounds great.
I highly recommend it.
