A nice little guitar with warm sound, loud enough for the dimensions and a pleasing tone (at least for my ears, I do not know yet about my neighbors...)
Out of the box it was necessary to tune and setup the action as the strings were very high but after tightening the truss rod, they now sit low on the frets without any buzz.
Seems to keep tune very well.
Some really minor flaws of quality (e.g. strings could have been better) but overall very happy and looking forward to many hours of play to confirm my first good impression.

Awesome traveling companion!
AndreasGuitar 15.02.2026
And by the travel I mean even just going for coffee to the river or grilling at lake!
It looks awesome, and out of the box the string action is sooo low that under heavy strumming with a pick there is fret buzz. But playing fingerstyle gets me clean sound and since I play nostly this way I don't need a setup for now.
Comparing to my main guitar Ibanez AAM370, the Traveler sounds indeed boxy. I can't fix it but I lack some presence therefore going to drill a soundport.
Shorter scale is interesting. Playing open and bar chords up to 5th fret is such an pleasure!
The size of Traveler compared to Ibanez' Grand Auditorium is really so small that I can throw it into Thule stroller's storage compartment and go walking with my kid.
The price to product ratio is sweet taking onto account the discount atm. Maybe one day I'll think about something like Taylor mini GS, but this Traveler is enough for nearest years 100%.
It is much better to have a bad sounding guitar always nearby than ideal guitar hanging at home. Traveler have you covered.

Parlor guitar I was looking for
Wackelzahn 07.03.2025
This small but mighty guitar is the toy I was looking for. I was surprised about the built quality and the nice details, which sets it apart from all the other parlor guitars in it's price range. One flaw was he buzzing frets at some positions, but this is something that can be set up. Overall I am very happy with it, and I am looking forward for many years of good time with this guitar. I totally recomend it!

Great little guitar. Real quality for the price is amazing. Bag also is provided. Couldn't ask for more really. A must for beginner, intermediate or professional.
