I'm a huge fan of this style of tuners, and have the Magnum Lock patent on all my guitars now. Standard locking tuners are heavier and ugly (if you're going for a somewhat vintage correct look) with the locking wheel on the back, which also is a potential source of failure if you don't tighten it enough (or too much).
These are the same weight as non-locking tuners, and the only difference in look is the slot on top of the post and the fact that the string is not wound several rounds around the post.
Shortly summarised, perfect tuning stability and much quicker/more efficient string changes with minimal aesthetic changes, what is there not to like? Price is also impeccable, last but not least.
