Not as good as neck, but still great
I will keep it (again) in one short sentence: A very good-sounding, obscenely cheap guitar pickup with solid build.
Now bit more context and details.
Since late 80’s I am using DiMarzio pickups, with some exceptions for SH Pearly Gates in two shorter scale guitars. Call me spoiled grandpa.
I bought this pickup as replacement for the original bridge pickup in cheap as hell Harley Benton ST-Modern HH. And it made big difference. Less overall output, but more dynamics, more harmonics, more healthy warmth. I bought also neck version of it, which is in my opinion a bit better sounding, but together they make a great pair (the alpha models).
Clear recommendation if you are on budget and need low output, old Gibson-style pickup.
PS
The not “alpha” have much stronger output, so rather avoid mixing alpha bridge with non-alpha neck pickups (unless you want it that way).
