Attractive Tom Tom arm for any drum rack system

Let's be clear; if you need a Tom Tom arm for a rack system, you need it to be an attractive, short pipe, and secure ball socket design.

I think this model is the best choice for that, and the best model out of what Gibraltar makes too, for only a little more cost. Paired with a GCS-400C series rack system - where almost everything is chrome, this Tom Tom arm paints a picture of elegance.

Obviously everything mechanical with it is top notch, as you would expect from Gibraltar.

Memory lock it - hasn't moved yet!

Love my Gibraltar rack. Yes they can be heavy and it looks like your moving house when you turn up with it all bagged up - but i wouldn't go back to separate stands for full kit setup. I went to town on memory locking everything and in 15mins I can have a 7 pc kit with 6 cymbals set back up exactly as I previously played it. I think they'll always divide the drumming community but I'm a convert if I'm taking my full kit out it will always be my racked setup. If I only need a small set up, i'll just leave my whole rack set up at home and take a few stands and the bits i need. Recommend - memory lock everything! I know some drummer worry about toms spinning / moving on the round racks - I'm by no means the worlds heaviest player, but to avoid any risk of movement - use the memory locks to prevent any rotation. Haven't had one move yet.

Bester Tom Halter da draußen

Das ist definitiv der beste Tom-Halter, den ich kenne. Bevor ich ihn mir gekauft habe (danach gleich ein 2. Mal), wusste ich nicht, wie "smooth" man den exakten Winkel einer Tom einstellen kann.
Die Tom lässt sich absolut stufenlos einstellen, d.h. in gewünschte Position halten (millimetergenau!), festziehen, hält genau dort. Kein 0,5 cm Absacken oder ähnliches, was man von anderen Haltern kennt. Auch muss man die Wing Nut absolut nicht bis Anschlag anziehen oder dergleichen. Und es gibt keine Kratzer auf dem "Ball", wenn man mal Gewalt anwendet oder jemand ins Schlagzeug fällt - ich nehme an, die Fixierung arbeitet mit Gummi-Reibung.

Für mich die erste Wahl. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Man braucht noch Memory Locks für die Toms selber, d.h. für den 10 mm-Stab, der an die Trommeln geht.
