Handling is very good. simple and intuitive. Connectivity is easy and straight forward.
Until now - no problem or hick-ups with the unit.
Sound quality is great, but I hadn't compared it A/B to others in the same environment.
Build quality is great. Pulling a plug out is very difficult (on the good side) -in 20 years it'll still be solid.

Can;t go wrong with this one.

Ferrofish Pulse16 exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for an inexpensive yet great sounding
AD DA solution, Pulse 16 should be on your radar.

Good and clean/sterile conversion

I use this for 16 input channels of my heavy modded Ghost 32 Classic for final analogue drums mix. In this scenario, the sterile D/A is a must, especially for already well mixed ITB drums. Before I was not a fan of RME and Ferrofish soind/conversion, but with the time I understood why clean/sterile conversion is also a must - just being used in the later stages of the Productions (mixing or pre/mastering). I would definetely buy another Pulse/Ferrofish converter. Also, the difference between 20 and 24dBu isn't really a difference..(or even 18 vs 24, in or out), especially when hybrid mixing includes several parallel sum busses and/or several and different analogue circles.

I’m pairing the Ferrofish with an Arturia 16rig and they both work together very nicely. What I love most is how they just work flawlessly and don’t get in the way of my music making process. I upgraded to this pair from a Tascam Model 24 and I’m happy with the audio quality as well as the 8 extra channels of audio I’m getting from them. Thanks Thomann for the quick delivery and competitive prices.
