It's stunning how quick it is with steping up any mix bus material with this little gem. Glue, shine, punch, weight, smoothness - almost anything you would want from a mix bus processor.
I was a little worried the 500s format would be too cramped for all the knobs and indicators, but it's really alright and the price difference from the 19" rack unit is more than 1/3 less so a very good deal if you have a proper 500s rack.

Perfection
This unit is a good one, the sound quality is exellent. The only thing is that it's relatively small (like all 500's) but thats not really a big problem. As alklways, Elysia delivers :)

I would have liked to give it a perfect rating for all features, but the level key turned out to be broken.
While everything is fine for shaping a master or mix, I couldn't quite accept that a large, high-quality company like Elysia would have a level button that's both reversed and malfunctioning. I would normally be a fan of Xmax, but I never play with the lowest level, and I just touched it to see if it might be causing a limiter effect, and that's when the problem appeared.

It sounds absolutely amazing - this device packs the entire arsenal needed for the final touch on a master buss! Highly recommended!
