Strings are good and sound fine. Had a problem with 0.11 E string tuning as it broke just as it reached pitch. Second E string was ok in tuning.

Ein Kollege hatte mir diesen Satz empfohlen mit dem Zusatz, er sei besonders für Bluegrass geeignet. Da meine Mandoline (eine Levin aus den 50ern) konstruktionsbedingt für Bluegrass eher nicht geeignet ist, kann ich das leider nicht bestätigen. Aber für Blues- und Folkstile (irisch/schottisch) habe ich bisher nichts besseres gefunden. Sehr präzise und durchsetzungsfähig im Klang besonders in Kombination mit einer Resonatorgitarre entfaltet dieser Satz auch die nötige Lautstärke.
Weiterhin positiv ist meiner Ansicht nach, dass der Satz für eine Mediumstärke relativ leicht ist.
