Love them!
Guitar tone is more subjective than almost any other topic. So, strings are a very personal thing. I'm sure that brand loyalty has as much to do with our perception of that tone as any other ingredient. Even so, many people would never think of putting a set of 9s on a 12 string, but even on an inexpensive guitar they really sing. I was looking for a very soft, extra light set of strings for my 40-year-old Eko Ranger 12-string. I wanted a gentler strain on the neck and a softer touch to play. These were perfect. They feel so comfortable. So soft and light. The action is amazing for my light touch style. I was suprised that they weren't individually wrapped (as I am used to) but they were color coded with a nice chart on the outer package. They've been installed now for several weeks and they hold tune perfectly. For 12 high quality strings, these were a great deal. They are easy to play, even when tuned to concert pitch, and unlike heavy strings leave enough room to be fingerpicked. Love them!

why would you use anything else?
i find it astonishing that no other manufacturers seem to produce 9s for 12-string.
i use these on my martin j15-12 and they sound beautiful. once on they take a couple of days to settle, and then hold their tuning extremely well. they feel great too. there's a lovely 'give' to these strings, they are soft to the touch, and i'm sure the guitar appreciates the lessened tension on the neck.
this is a very good price

Daddario EJ41
Daddario. The only string for an Ovation of which I have two.
