It costs only 1/4 of the original DFAM from Moog, so of course corners had to be cut. Unfortenuately Behringer made some bad choises. I think a percussive, analog instrument, ment for live performance with quick changes, has to meet two basic requirements: a VCA with just the right attack so it doesn't get too "clicky", and pots that are easy to turn.
This device has all the functional goodies that you expect from a DFAM clone, but it fails at both the mentioned requirements, making playing it a much less pleasant experience.
I give it three stars because all those with a strong grip and who are more interested in funny functions than a pleasant sound will still be able to have a good time with the Edge.
