A little V with a big voice

Analog Lab Pro is the gateway into Arturia's software instrument ecosystem, offering curated access to the engines – and thousands of presets – behind the V Collection. Sitting at the top of the Analog Lab range, the Pro version combines an extensive preset library with advanced organisation and performance tools, including macros, layering, and live controls – the focus is on immediacy rather than full instrument-level editing. Over 2,000 presets, spanning vintage synthesizers and keyboards, modern sound-design tools and orchestral textures, can be shaped, layered, and split via mapped macros and integrated effects. Analog Lab Pro works equally well as an accessible entry point into Arturia's V Collection and as a long-term performance companion. It 's often bundled with selected Arturia controllers, such as KeyLab and AstroLab, where it serves as a central sound engine.

Arturia Analog Lab Pro Main Screen

Stop editing, start creating

Analog Lab Pro draws its sounds from Arturia's extensive catalogue of software instruments, known for detailed recreations of classic synthesizers from Roland, Oberheim, ARP, and other key manufacturers, alongside Hammond organs, clavinets, electric pianos, and other vintage keyboards, as well as sounds from Arturia's own instruments such as Pigments. Each preset is presented with eight macro controls, allowing multiple parameters to be adjusted simultaneously without accessing the full instrument interface. Users can layer or split two sounds across the keyboard, balance levels, and assign insert and send effects within the main window. The result is a streamlined, performance-focused workflow that moves quickly from idea to execution.

Arturia Analog Lab Pro Effect Units

Something for everyone

Analog Lab Pro will suit producers who need fast access to polished sounds, keyboard players preparing live set patches, and composers sketching ideas who don't want to dive into detailed editing. In the studio, it simplifies the workflow, presenting ready-to-play patches that can be quickly optimised and dropped into a mix. On stage, Playlist and Stage modes allow performers to organise sounds in advance and switch between them smoothly during a set. Whether used as a creative sketchpad or a full-fledged live instrument, Analog Lab Pro prioritises musical flow over technical depth. Users who later require full synthesis editing can upgrade to the V Collection without changing their established workflow.

Arturia Analog Lab Pro Virtueller Synthesizer

About Arturia

Arturia's success story began with software emulations of well-known analogue synthesizers such as the Moog Minimoog, Sequential Prophet-5, and Oberheim SEM. The popular software instruments included in the V Collection are still flagship products of the French developer today. Over time, Arturia has gradually expanded its range and now also offers a host of hardware devices, ranging from synthesizers and keyboard controllers to sequencers. Since then, the former software developer has thus also become a household name in the world of analogue synthesizers and other equipment.

Ecosystem & positioning

Analog Lab Pro sits within a scalable ecosystem. A free Play version offers a limited preset selection and fixed macros, while Intro expands the library to 500 presets and adds enhanced browsing features for users of Arturia hardware. The Pro edition increases the library to over 2,000 presets, adds editable macros, and expanded performance views. Integration with Arturia controllers such as KeyLab and AstroLab is particularly tight: Encoders are pre-mapped to macro and effects parameters, and presets can be browsed directly from compatible hardware displays. Standard MIDI protocols are supported, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of third-party controllers. This tiered structure allows users to begin with streamlined performance tools and expand into deeper sound design over time, while maintaining compatibility across Arturia's hardware and software range.

L
Amazing software package
Limerot 11.05.2023
Truly amazing software package with all the classic instruments and vintage synths that sound great! Well done Arturia.

This package is an intro to all you need at a fair price. Same instruments as in Collection 9, but with an easy interface that is preset-based. You still have some knobs to fiddle with. Turn two knobs and the same sound sounds different. On top of this, you also have effects to further alter the sound.

Leslie on the organ was mapped to my microkey midi keyboard on startup, no problems there. Easy to assign midi controll to the few knobs you have, can also be done.

Easy to set up and play with two instruments at the same time for some individual touch.

The easy preset-based interface is the strong point for many, and downside for many still. Very easy to find sounds for different styles and genres.

Overall this software package is fast to install, sounds great (!), easy to use and all this at a very good price. Remember, you get a lot of vintage, classic and modern instruments that cost a tiny fraction of the real thing, and all these instruments does not require constant maintenance and fiddling to sound at its best and in tune.

Only downside to this software package is the limited number of knobs to fiddle with, but this could also be seen as a strength.

It all depends on you.

Useable sounds that I can get to quickly
Jim H 20.12.2022
I've been frustrated trying to find the right sounds for some of my tunes. V Lab gets me there really quickly and I'm loving that. It's now my first choice for any keyboard sounds on anything I'm working on.

Definitely a wonderful tool for creativity and work)

I have long laid eyes on this tool and still decided to buy. I have no regrets, it really contains inspiring sounds. But while it is difficult to say about its optimization. My computer is generally not designed for heavy projects, so I'm interested in how Analog Lab performs.
