Great quality soft case from a great range.

This is the third case from the Ahead Armor range I have bought, and if and when I buy more drums (like I have told my wife I am not going to do), I will get Ahead Armor cases for them. I have Protection Racket cases, I have original Tama bags, but the Ahead Armor just ticks all the boxes for me.

Really sturdy black ripstop nylon, fleecy lining to provide cushioning for the inevitable bumps and scrapes (which is why we buy cases in the first place), the zips are big and chunky, the handles are sturdy and ergonomically comfortable.

I am a hobbyist, I perform a couple of times a month plus weekly rehearsals, my gear is transferred from home to car to rehearsal to gig and home again, so cases are important to protect my drums.

There are cheaper options out there to protect your drums, but I put my faith in Ahead as far as my gear is concerned.

nice fit

nice fit for my brass snare.
use it to move it to and from the studio, doesn't use much space, keeps the snare cushioned tight and safe.
a plastic base on the side, to have nice upright stand on the floor, would be a nice addition.

The bag is of good quality and the shape is nice to fit smaller snares while also accounting for the space needed for the snare strainer. The inside is lined with a nice soft material that should protect your drum from shocks but obviously it's not a hard case. Still a great product to use for storage and transportation!

Wer die Gewa SPS-Bags kennt und schätzt, wird auch diese Taschen mögen.

Die Taschen sind sehr stabil, lassen sich leicht öffnen (noch einfacher als die SPS durch die Tropfenform) und machen auch was her.

Innen befindet sich ein schönes Fellimitat was super flauschig ist - da kommt garantiert keine Lackierung zu schaden.
Die Wände sind geschätzt einen 3/4 Daumen breit und halten Stöße effektiv ab.

Einziger Wermutstropfen: die Taschen sind aufgrund ihrer Steifigkeit und dem flauschigen Innenleben recht schwer.

Bei Preisschwankungen der SPS-Bags findet man hier also eine passende Alternative, die mindestens auf dem gleichen Niveau die Ausrüstung schützt.
