Effect

The new high-power version delivers a lasting wow effect with razor-sharp beams. It also has all the latest technical features that a sought-after lighting effect can have, including: DMX-512 for programming or connecting multiple devices, exciting sound-to-light programs, continuous operation throughout the night, long-life LEDs (with 30,000 operating hours), a 4-button DMX display on the rear control panel (for ease of use), IEC IN/OUT on the rear for connecting devices in series, 1.8-degree stepper motor for smooth movements. The Quad Phase HP can be controlled via a DMX controller or the Stairville Pocket-Master I (Art no. 168964, not included)

One of the most exciting lights I've purchased

I use this light every night in my solo show. Works equally well when hung from my truss or stood on the floor. Perfect for a special effect to backlight the singer. The beams go for miles and with DMX you can controll the colour, the speed and the strobe effect. Also on DMX you can set it to sound active mode. Just an amazing light. Add some haze and wow!!! Small problem. When using haze the haze gets sucked into the back of the light and can fog up the lenses. So frequent removing of the front cover may be required to clean them. All depends on how much haze you use and how often. But still a fabulous light.

Just what I needed

I wanted a quality, bright and wide coverage area moonflower effect at a reasonable price and this ticks every box. Very good with or without DMX. It is perfect for any party/event. The only drawback is the size, It isn't a small light but is still very lightweight.

Excellent fixture

Absolutely brilliant light fixture! I use two of these master-slave -synced in sound active mode, and for a basic 100-150 people party that's all you need. Full potential is unleashed with sound active mode, without a DMX controller, as they pick the sound and respond accordingly (AUTOMATICALLY change direction/colour as bassdrum kicks, and slow down the rotation when the tune breaks down). I've found two drawbacks; if you play a little louder or the device is positioned in a way that the internal mic pics bass very easily, it's hard to adjust the sensitivity to a low enough setting. And if you wish to use them as part of a larger setup, I haven't found a way to use DMX for toggling them on to sound active mode, and still keep them synced with each other. However, DMX-toggle works fine with a single unit, of course. Using a power switch is not a feasible option, as they take several seconds to start up.

Very bright for it's size!!

Purchased 2 on them for Wedding and Event parties and using them on a T-Bar with Master/Slave connection. They fill a room for up to 250 people. The light is very bright and can travel around 30 meters without any issues.
Highly recommended!
