Super handy

This device is very handy, in fact super handy!

I was looking for a smooth way to be able to hook up a bluetooth device like a phone, tablet or laptop for that matter to XLR without hassle. The ALTO gave me that possibility in a small and for the money really good device. I´ve been using it for around a year now with active monitors in different locations and I really appreciate it. The battery life is around 6 hours as advertised. Very handy, I highly recommend it.

Great for home use.

I'm using Alto Bluetooth Ultimate at my home for wireless connection with my mixer. The device behaves very well when I move around the house. Signal is ok through 2-3 thick concrete walls. More than 3 walls cause interruptions in signal - in my case this is at about 12 meters. This range is ok for me and my home.
I bought a 50cm XLR cable for the stereo connectivity, but now that it arrived, I think that 30cm would have been sufficient.
Sound is good enough on Mono, Stereo is a real nice bonus, for which the additional investment in buying Ultimate is totally worthed for me.
There isn't latency in the transmission, which is good for watching movies.
Phantom power produces no noise at all when on. There is a loud beep however while connecting/disconnecting the bluetooth which is rather annoying, and for which I need to always be careful to mute the channel in case I disconnect. Would be great if that one is reduced somehow.
The battery indicator lights are very helpful.
Generally I am very happy with the purchase, it saves a lot of hassle with cables and devices.

The thing that I would LOVE to have is Ultimate working on 48V phantom power. That would be perfect for continuous use and would resolve all battery charging inconveniences.

Super Teil für Hintergrundmusik

Eins Vorweg, super praktisch und ein gutes Gerät um eben auf die schnelle noch Hintergrundmusik einzuspielen. Akkulaufzeit ist sehr gut und meines Erachtens nach auch länger als die angegebenen 6 Stunden.

Hintergrundmusik deshalb, weil der Sound schon nicht brachial gut ist. Also den Soundcheck oder die Anlage einpegeln ist mit dem Alto BTU eher suboptimal.
Für mich dennoch eine gute Investition, nimmt kaum Platz im Koffer weg und ist immer gut um es dabei zu haben.
Wir nutzen mittlerweile 3 Stück und haben bisher noch keine Probleme gehabt.
