The sound stage is good for a closed back and the imaging and detail is satisfying. I compared it with my AKG k371 for hours. While AKG K371 has a better tonality (near to the Harman curve), the detail and soundstage in the whole frequency spectrum is far better in Hifiman. In general it is a pleasant headphone which justifies the price.
