It Gives Me Joy just by Looking at It.
Dan tristan 11.05.2024
Intro.
I was looking for a guitar that has a Good Looks and Good Sound at the same time. My First Option was the Duesenberg Starplayer TV. I have been saving for it for several months already, Until, I saw the Gretsch Chris Rocha Model! The first time I saw it, I changed my mind from buying the more expensive one. Theres not much review on the internet so I just bought it with a high hopes that it will be a good guitar.

The Looks & Build.
After 2-3 weeks of Waiting, The guitar arrvied safely. Just When I open it, My wife saw it, and her reaction was... " wwoooOW...That guitar is so Beautiful"... And Yes, Just by staring at it, It already makes me really Happy.... It's really Beautiful... The Finish is perfect... The Build Quality is More than good, ALMOST Perfect... I think, Just for the looks, this is already worth for the price.
It Really Looks Elegant and More More Expensive on Personal and The photos on the the site really didn't give justice on the the guitar.

The Sound.
Yes, this makes me more even Happy, The sound is crystal clear.
This is the sound that I want to hear from my guitar. It is very clear that even the overdriven Sound makes it clean, in a good way.
Even you are playing a Clean sound or Overdriven, It sounds good the ears. There is something on the pick up that makes the sound crisp and clear. You can hear also all the string while you strum it on overdriven sound.
In addition, I want to mention the Trebble-Bleed. It is not a gimick, It really responsive and Works really well. They have done a good job for these.

The Feel.
I want to compare it to some of my collections like PRS SE, Yamaha Revstar. The Fretwork of this guitar is the same or better thank my SE & Revstar. The neck is thin and comfortable. The Fret ends and smooth, very well finished.

The Only Cons.
The Vibrato Bar. This is the first time I use a bibsgy, So I can just compare it to a normal vibrato from PRS or Strat. I tried to abused it like dive bomb, it fall out of tune. But, for some moderate vibrato use, It works fine.
So, The only downside on this guitar is the vibrato, if you want to use it as a Dive Bomb machine, or Van Halen thing, I think Its not for you. But for me, It works perfectly fine. I just use it to add some feeling on my playing. So it depends on how are you going to use it.

My Final Verdict.
This is a really really well made guitar. 100% I give on the Quality.
Every Money that I saved is Worth it. You will get a guitar that is more than what you've paid for. I am really happy having this guitar.
Thank you Gretsch & Chris for making this Beautiful Guitar.
Thanks also for thomann team for not overpricing and for Delivering my guitar to safety.

I am using this on church every week for our Praise & Worship.
It really makes the Job done. God bless!!!

Next time again. cheers!
