Estava trocando de arco barroco por um arco romântico. Achei o som muito pelo valor do produto, a qualidade do acabamento também é bom, a vara é flexível, a madeira de boa qualidade, o sapo é bem feito e fácil de apertar a crina, não é pesado, tem uma boa aderência na corda, é confortável para mim, bem equilibrado, bem alinhado, fácil manuseio(isso é relativo), sua construção é bem feita. Faço apenas uma ressalva pela crina, apesar de ser animal, e ser relativamente bom, não é da mesma qualidade do arco em si, mas como com o tempo este deve ser trocado não faz muito diferença no momento. Altamente recomendo!

The stick is just right amount elastic and feels great and alive in the hand. The length of the bow and hair is just perfect in a way that it should suit everybody.

The sound is more complex and rich, not so focused. It has clarity but it is not overly bright. It brings the sound from the depth (there is more of everything) and sounds good in all registers on the bass. Consistent from frog to tip, and of course other way around.

The frog and screw are still in perfect condition and working great after more than 1 year of use.
The width of the hair at the tip of the bow is not great. It is little bit narrow so the hair from tip to frog are not perfectly in line. (Good luthier can make it wider)

The bow hair that comes on the bow is very bad quality and are not put well. They are “here and there”, over crossing each other.
To make it really work great you will need to do the rehair. So there comes extra cost.

Don’t spend too much money on a bow. (Unless you are really sure what do you want)
I tried much more expensive bows and this one outperforms most of them.
Price doesn’t equal quality in this case.

(Manufactured bow are little bit risky investment, especially without trying. Maybe I was lucky, maybe all of them are good)

PS I use Wiedoeft rosin, and also did trial on pops.

Nice sound but…

I love the sound of this bow but using it to practice, my thumb kept slipping through the gap. I assumed it was because it was new, but last night I compared it with my friend’s bow and discovered the gap is much bigger than on her bow! My fingers and thumbs aren’t skinny! I’m going to have to try and sell this and buy another.

Ich bin professioneller Kontrabassist und habe mir den Bogen bestellt weil ich nach Jahrzehnten mit "deutscher" Bogentechnik mal die "französische" testen will ohne erstmal viel Geld auszugeben. Ich bin vom Bogen begeistert. Sehr gute Verarbeitung, alle Kanten schön abgerundet, toller Klang, die Balance ist auch sehr gut.Gewicht 134g. Klar ist mein 10X so teurer Meisterbogen in allem besser und feiner gearbeitet doch so riesig ist der Unterschied nicht. Der Bogen lässt sich leicht spannen und die Behaarung ist gut. Die Stange ist auch sehr schön gerade. Das Holz scheint dem Fernambuk Holz trotz des günstigeren Preises sehr ähnlich zu sein. Ich merke da keinen riesigen Unterschied. Hatte gleichzeitig einen Schlangenholzbogen von Roth& Junius zum Vergleich bestellt. Der war in allem deutlich schlechter.
Klare Kaufempfehlung für den Dörfler Bogen, es ist erstaunlich welche gute Qulität man bei diesem günstigen Preis erhält.
