Great sounds - easy to control

I bought this module after watching some videos from the manufacturer. Due to bad relationships between Behringer and YouTubers, we don't have many video reviews of this product. I have to say that my feeling was right - the ability to mix 4 out of 128 wave forms and balance them with the central knob brings something new (at least to me). Also, it's smartly implemented: the UI Is very effective and makes it easy to understand and control the module functionality. Very easy to "get to the sound", just by experimenting. A pleasure to tweek...

Allein der Joystick ist für diesen Preis auch standalone zu nutzen und springt nicht zurück. Das gab es in diesem Preissegment bisher nicht. Daher absolut Top.
Klang ebenso wie erwartet. Es gibt nichts zu meckern.
Die Bedienung ist über mehrere Seiten etwas fummelig - lernt man aber schnell.
Die Anleitung ist wieder mal reine Papierverschwendung.
Und hier noch ein Tipp der nirgendwo bisher steht. Gleichzeitig YMOD und FREQ länger drücken. Dann kann man die Sound-Engine zwischen MODERN, MODERN BRIGHT und VINTAGE umschalten. Ab Werk ist MODERN eingestellt. Das ist der Hammer!

Sowas gibt es noch nicht fürs Modular? Oder doch, egal, zumindest nicht für die paar Kröten! Denn andere Hersteller nehmen dafür stolze Summen. Das sehe ich natürlich garantiert nicht ein. Schließlich ist Musik machen finanziell gesehen ein 100%iges Verlustgeschäft! Aber das ist ja eine Urlaubsreise auch, und das sieht aber niemand so. Also 100 Kröten für die nächsten 50 Jahre Spaß rechnet sich schon! Der Victor ist eine tolle Sache und klingt wie kein anderer Oszi. Selbst der Waldorf NW1 ist ja auch sehr speziell, und kann richtig gut was. Ich werde mal allerhand durch probieren was da so geht. Auf jeden Fall neue Farben fürs Eurorack jenseits von Rechteck, Sinus und Sägezahn!

Plus compact que le Pro-VS Mini, il s'intègre parfaitement à mon eurorack, et je suis ravi d'intégrer à mon setup cette pate très froide et 80's en complément de la chaleur de mon Pro-800, de la même marque. Je regrette simplement d'avoir perdu les potentiomètres du Pro-VS mini ce qui complique l'édition, mais il reste très satisfaisant, et j'espère voir d'autres modules de ce type arriver chez Behringer.
