Un simbolo, una storia. Per chi ama le chitarre elettriche, la GS rappresenta, insieme a poche altre, i generi musicali tra gli anni 1960 e 1980: Rock, pop, blues, heavy. Il suono è sostanzialmente bilanciato. Può essere pulito, caldo e grosso e, col pick 61 al ponte, tagliente. La leggerezza è la sua caratteristica principale a differenziarla dalla sorella maggiore LP, a discapito, come noto, dal sustain. Ma va bene così! Manico sottile e ben regolato. Ho solo alzato di 1 mm. il ponte e intonato per bene la terza corda. Per chi ha nostalgia, consigliata.

Best SG version so far - Worth every penny!

Own this guitar for some time now and honestly, I couldn't be any happier!

Very comfortable guitar, the body sits perfectly on your lap and the neck feels amazing!

Very easy to play and as for the tone, there's nothing similar to it! I don't think you will ever be able to find any negative points for this guitar.

Aesthetically, there's nothing better than Gibson's vintage original tuning pegs and the small pick guard - in combination with these horns.

If you own any other double humbucker guitars, it surely can not compare to them - If you do not own any humbucker guitar, you definitely need this one!

Comes with the hard case that every time you open it, the smell reminds you how amazing your guitar is!

Undoubtedly worth the extra money comparing to the standard SG model!

Accurate reproduction of 60s Guitar

I have wanted an Gibson SG since its introduction in the 60s and now am able to add it to my collection of top end guitars.
The guitar is well made with quality materials, relatively light weight and comfortable to play.
The set up of the guitar left something to be desired which required me to re-set the truss rod to get the right dip.
The nut was poorly finished and needed rework and it really need replacing.
The string hight was so low on the trebble side that the strings were buzzing all the way up the fingerboard.
The intonation was way out and I had to reverse all of the saddles to get it to plat in tune.
The finish on the frets and fingerboard is good and of the quality you would expect on a guitar of this cost.and the tuners are of a good quality also.
The body finish is good with the quality of the mahogany showing through and the joint impossible to see.
The guitar case provided is of excellent quality and protects the guitar well.
The sound quality is OK and the pick ups reasonable but not as good as my PRS SE Custom which is a better guitar.
