Low price but good quality
Jyri 30.03.2014
The Hagström Viking is a very nice guitar with a nice price tag as well. The pickups are beautifully dark and soft sounding, and the guitar also sounds good even without an amp. That's a good thing for someone like me, since I rarely use an amp when I'm playing at home.

The neck of the guitar feels good and is easy to play. Playing chords, barres etc. is quite effortless and light. Playing solos with the Viking is easy and fun too, because the neck is not too thick to make it clumsy and slow.

This guitar is not very expensive, but I have no complaints about it's quality. The frets are nice and smooth, and there's no annoying string buzzing or anything like that. All the hardware works just as it's supposed to, and the guitar was easy to adjust the way I like it. In my opinion this guitar feels and sounds like it should cost much more money, but I'm glad it doesn't!

Very good - but better ES335 style guitars out there
Anonymous 08.12.2014
This is a very good 335 style guitar. It sounds great and can easily handle high gain. At that price it is great value.

However, I have to say the overall quality and finish is better on the Ibanez AS range of guitars for similar money. I would recommend getting those guitars instead of the Viking
