Great pedal for bass

I'm impressed, it looks really nice, package is very dense so pedal doesn't move in the box. It comes with battery in the pedal itself so you can just plug and play. I bought it only for vintage mode, and on 6 string bass it thickens low end and softens high end, so everything sounds much nicer. It will be my always on pedal. It's also quite heavy and a bit higher pedal than polytune mini for example.

Da ich schon länger mit dem EP Booster geliebäugelt habe war für mich klar, das ich die limitierte Version zu Thomanns 70. Jubiläum dazu noch zu einem günstigeren Preis als das "Original" sofort ordern musste. Er ist zwar spartanisch mit nur einem Knopf ausgestattet, dafür sieht dieser aber um Welten besser als das Plastikteil beim Original aus. Er bläst ab sofort meinen Marshall Silver Jubilee im Rhythm-Clip Kanal an, macht aber auch vor meinen SD-1 ein gute Figur um noch mehr Gain herauszuholen, was ihm hervorragend gelingt. Ok, er färbt den Sound schon ein wenig, aber das macht auch seinen Charme aus. Ich möchte ihn jetzt schon nicht mehr missen, er ist gekommen um zu bleiben.....

Was ein schöner Booster. Einmal an, nie mehr aus. Es klingt voller, besser, einfach mehr. Klasse. Er verträgt sich mit allem, immer. Ohne ihn klingt alles mau, so zumindest die erste Empfindung, wenn man ihn doch mal kurz ausmacht. Die Chrom-Optik ist praktisch um vorm Gig nochmal die Frisur zu checken, mal sehen, wie sich das optisch mit der Zeit entwickelt. Klare Empfehlung, besonders zu dem Preis.
