Great wee synth

I always planned on purchasing Waldorf Pulse 2 then spotted it in a nice limited edition blue as part of Thomann’s 70th Anniversary at a great price so was a no brainier

As for the synth, for a small desktop synth it’s got great fat sound, plenty presets and modulation.

Anyone who like myself is looking at second hand units, stop, here’s a brand new unit and would highly recommend you grab one before they disappear.

Der Pulse 2 ist ein echter Soundhammer, zu dem das freundliche Babyblau eigentlich nicht passt. Aber mir gefällt dieser Kontrast! Jetzt kann mein alter Pulse 1 endlich in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand geschickt werden.

Die Bedienung ist eigentlich perfekt. Ich weiß deshalb gar nicht, warum so viel geklagt wird. Ihr müsst euch nur für 40€ den Editor der Firma AURAPLUGINS holen. Dann ist der Pulse 2 wie ein Plugin zu bedienen. Mit der Hardware könnt ihr intuitiv am Filter und den Hüllkurven schrauben. Alles, was ihr macht, lässt sich plugintypisch im Computer aufzeichnen. Das Plugin war auch das Argument für mich, keinen Behringer zum halben Preis zu kaufen, weil da gibt es so etwas nicht. Der Pulse klingt so direkt wie kein Behringer das hinbekommt. Nicht nur exzellente Bässe, sondern auch Sounds, die an die frühen Depeche Mode erinnern, gelingen mit Bravour. Selbst in deutlich höheren Preisklassen wie Minimoog, Sequential etc gibt es im Grunde genommen nichts Besseres. Der Unterschied zu egal welchem Software Synthesizer ist auf jeden Fall vorhanden. Einfach viel angenehmer im Höhenbereich und abgrundtief in den Bässen.
